The main function of a hotel room card is to activate the card, used to enter the room. Simply put, a customer opens a room card at the hotel front desk, then gently swipes it to open the door and enter the room. This type of card is essentially a personal key. Functions of hotel IC cards and hotel ID cards:
Hotel IC cards and hotel ID cards have more powerful functions than the previous two, offering higher security and convenience to use. Their main functions include points, card swiping, payment, and door opening. The basic working principle of IC cards is: the RFID reader sends a set of fixed frequency electromagnetic waves to the IC card. Inside the card is an LC series resonant circuit whose frequency matches the frequency emitted by the reader. Under electromagnetic excitation, the LC resonant circuit resonates, causing charge to form inside the capacitor. At the other end of this capacitor, a unidirectional electronic pump is connected to transfer the charge inside the capacitor to another capacitor for storage. When the accumulated charge reaches 2V, this capacitor can serve as a power source to supply operating voltage to other circuits, sending out card data or receiving data from the reader/writer.
