By the end of 2015, Changjiang and Jilin will achieve universal use of bus IC cards in both cities

　　According to the plan, by the end of 2015, the province will add or update 5,000 new and new urban public transport vehicles, build and expand 420,000 square meters of urban public transport parking lots (warm car garages), and install 8,800 bus shelter signs.

　　Changchun aims to become a national "Bus City" demonstration city, with built-up area bus network density exceeding 3.5 kilometers per square kilometer, 17 standard urban public transport vehicles per 10,000 people, and a new energy vehicle utilization rate exceeding 20%. Bus stops in the central urban area will be fully covered within 500 meters, with over 60% of bay-style stops exceeding 60%, enabling 500-meter boarding and 5-minute transfers in the main urban area. The priority traffic signal rate for buses on urban arteries and key intersections will reach over 30%, the average operating speed of buses will reach over 20 km/h, the on-time departure rate will reach over 92%, and the entry rate into parking lots (including warm garages) will exceed 90%. Public transportation in the central urban area accounts for more than 45% of motorized travel. By 2015, the IC card usage rate in Changchun will reach over 80%.

　　Changchun City and Jilin City should, in accordance with the provisions of the "Dedicated Bus Lanes," take the lead in setting up dedicated bus lanes on more than 70% of main roads in the central urban area, and initially form a network by the end of 2015. Changchun City (including all counties, cities, and districts under its jurisdiction) and Jilin City should integrate the Changchun and Jilin integration efforts, take the lead in building an intelligent bus management service system by the end of 2015, and achieve universal use of bus IC cards in both cities.
