Dual-frequency card solution management solution

2014-07-25 · 1. Automatic member recognition, displaying real-time statistics of members' names, photos, and number of people, with the entire process completed automatically, avoiding human intervention;

1. Solution Overview
1. Systematic Significance
1. Automatic member recognition, displaying real-time statistics of members' names, photos, and number of people, with the entire process completed automatically, avoiding human intervention;
2. The identification process is simple, fast, and equipped with comprehensive reporting and query functions;
3. It offers both remote sensing membership and near-distance consumption functions, and can synchronously update member information by uploading data via handheld devices in remote locations.

2. System Architecture and Solution Explanation
This system integrates automatic identification technology, computer network technology, and projection technology into one, forming an integrated system for member automatic identification. Its working mechanism is: the electronic card is activated by electromagnetic inquiry signals continuously emitted by the card reader, which then feeds back a response signal carrying the electronic card number. Through the mutual signal inquiry and response between the electronic card and the card reader, the reader can accurately and quickly identify the number inside the electronic card, and output the read electronic card number to a computer, external controller, or other terminal device according to a specified output format, thereby achieving card recognition. When members wearing electronic cards arrive at the store's terminal entrance, nearby readers transmit the read electronic card number to the consumer terminal via Ethernet or data cable, which then transmits the data (the read electronic card number) to a remote or local computer server via the computer network. This allows member terminals and query terminals connected to the server to update data in real time: the terminal displays photos and names of members in the channel in real time, while the query terminal also displays real-time status and statistics of members entering the store.

2. Solution Explanation

This card uses both high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency chips inside the card, enabling long-distance identification and short-range consumption. If an RFID card with only a high-frequency chip is issued to a member, it can only be used for consumption; if issued to a member with only an ultra-high-frequency chip, the member can only be used for identification. If both are available, then the member can have both functions.

2.1 Solution Implementation:
1: Install an ultra-high frequency reader/writer independently developed and produced by our company next to the access control system as a signal receiver. When personnel wear dual-frequency RFID cards, the UHF reader activates the UHF tag and transmits data to the UHF reader, which then transmits data to the consumer terminal via a data cable, which can then detect membership entry.
2. When making purchases, the dual-frequency RFID card is placed on a nearby card reader to swipe the card, allowing for functions such as consumption, top-up, discounts, and points.

3. Develop the functions required by the system
1. Functions required by handheld systems
1. Membership card deductions, points, and discounts.
2. 3G data upload
3. Administrator password login

2. Functions required by the in-store ultra-high frequency management system
1. When members enter, their name, phone number, address, photo, and other information are displayed.
2. Member statistics

3. Functions required by the in-store member consumption management system
1. Adding or removing members
2. Member top-ups, spending, points, discounts, and card exchanges
3. Statistics on all members' spending and points.
4. Administrator password login

4. Service system
1. Capable of processing data transmitted from handheld systems. After processing, the in-store management system data is updated in real time. After adding a member, both the in-store system and service system have the member's information.
This system mainly handles remote data. For example, after users in Sichuan swipe their cards, the headquarters can receive the user's card swipe information via the handheld device uploaded data.
