The standard size for portrait cards is 85.5*54*0.76mm. Non-standard cards can be made in any shape and size.
A portrait card is a PVC card printed with a person's face, name, number, department, and position. If IC chips are used, they are mostly contactless IC cards, which can enable company attendance and access control. Large enterprise employee cards also include meal cards, library cards, and other functions, making employee management more convenient.So, what are the requirements for making portrait cards? I've already listed them below, so you can take a look.
1. The portrait card body must be resistant to light leakage, strong light, and light penetration.
2. Under test conditions of radiation intensity 500W/square meter, blackboard temperature 50°C, 5 hours, and room temperature of 40+1, the card surface does not yellow, cracks, and the front holographic anti-counterfeit film remains unchanged.
3. After transporting the finished card from a dry environment to a humid one, or vice versa, after unboxing, the card will naturally return to a smooth surface and be reliably usable.
4. The side burrs on the PVC cardholder meet ISO7810 standards, and the formed paper card uses functional filling materials, with no color differences or burrs on the side.
5. Imported cutting equipment is used to ensure accurate alignment of front and back faces, with an error not exceeding 0.5mm;
6. Imported laminating equipment is used; technical parameters such as heat sealing cooling humidity and lamination time meet ISO7810 standards, bonding is firm, no delamination or cracking after 10 hours of water immersion, and naturally bending 45 cm of the card body without cracking.
7. Card surfaces should be smooth, flat, non-laminated, not bent, not easily broken, and have a certain degree of toughness. Clear printing fonts, strong color separation texture, distinct image layering, accurate registration, resolution above 300 lines per inch.
8. The portrait on the card must be completely consistent with the draft, without distortion, and the portrait print must be clear.
