Product overview

Fiberglass reinforced aluminum foil tape combines pure aluminum foil or an aluminum laminate with fiberglass reinforcement for improved tensile and tear strength. A high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive and white silicone release liner support convenient installation. Reference dimensions are 0.15 mm thickness, 30 m length and widths slit from 5 to 1200 mm, with a reference service range of -30 to 120°C. High peel strength, good initial tack and holding power, internal cohesion, flame resistance, weatherability and high/low-temperature performance make it suitable for insulation seams, pipe joints, puncture sealing, repairs and vapor barriers.

Procurement notes

Provide width, length, thickness, service temperature, application surface, insulation or sealing purpose, quantity and packaging. Clean oil, dust and water before installation and select width for bend radius and surface roughness. For high-temperature, outdoor, flame-resistant or vapor-sealing work, test adhesion, tensile strength, temperature resistance and sealing on the actual pipe or insulation material.
