ESD antistatic grid tape is made from black antistatic OPP with a visible grid pattern for quick identification in electronics production and packaging areas. During unwinding, tearing and friction it generates less than 100 V, with static decay below 0.5 seconds. Ordinary tape may generate more than 5,000 V under similar handling, so this tape significantly reduces electrostatic hazards during sealing, packing and tape removal around sensitive electronic components. The standard length is 36 m and widths can be slit for the package or equipment.
