ESD Antistatic PTFE Tape
Fiberglass fabric impregnated with PTFE dispersion, sintered into a smooth film and coated with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Reference model CX518, 0.18 mm thick, 10 m long, slit to width, and usable up to about 300°C.

Product overview
ESD antistatic PTFE tape uses fiberglass fabric as reinforcement. The fabric is impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion and sintered to form a dense, smooth PTFE surface, then coated with heat-resistant silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Reference model CX518 is 0.18 mm thick and 10 m long, with width slit to order. It works at temperatures up to about 300°C and combines antistatic performance, electrical insulation, strong adhesion, wear resistance, non-stick release and resistance to acids, alkalis and many organic solvents.
Product features
- Fiberglass-reinforced PTFE combines dimensional stability, mechanical strength and high-temperature performance.
- Maximum working temperature is about 300°C for heat sealing, heat bonding and hot processing.
- Antistatic performance can reach approximately the 10^6 range, helping control charge at hot workstations.
- Silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive provides strong bonding and high-temperature fixing or masking.
- Smooth PTFE surface resists sticking, molten residue and contamination and is easy to clean.
- Excellent abrasion resistance helps the coating withstand repeated contact and friction.
- Resists acids, alkalis and many organic solvents for demanding chemical environments.
- Provides electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and durability, with custom slit widths.
Applications
- Non-stick and separation lining at heat sealers, heat-bonding machines and packaging equipment.
- High-temperature masking and insulation near hot processing and welding operations.
- Hot conveying, pressing and sealing stations that also require static control.
- Surface protection under acids, alkalis, organic solvents and mechanical abrasion.
- Wrapping molds, guides and heating plates that require low adhesion and easy cleaning.
Procurement notes
Provide width, length, thickness, maximum temperature, bonding surface, ESD requirement, quantity and packing. For continuous heat sealing, mechanical friction or chemical exposure, also state contact temperature, duration, pressure, speed and media. Test temperature resistance, non-stick release, adhesion, wear, insulation and antistatic performance on the actual equipment before volume purchasing.
