Product overview

PTFE high-temperature fabric uses fiberglass cloth as reinforcement and is impregnated and sintered with polytetrafluoroethylene to form a smooth, wear-resistant and non-stick surface on both sides. It is non-adhesive by default; adhesive-backed grades are available separately. A common reference is 0.13 mm thick and 1 m wide, with 1.25 m width and 0.18 or 0.25 mm options. Different grades cover a reference range of -140 to 360°C, while actual continuous temperature must be confirmed for the operating load.

Product features

  • The non-stick PTFE surface releases oil, paste, resin and coatings easily and supports repeated cleaning and use.
  • Reference range is -140 to 360°C; continuous and short-term limits vary by thickness and grade.
  • Resists strong acids, strong alkalis and many organic solvents in chemically demanding processes.
  • Low friction coefficient, approximately 0.05-0.1, supports oil-free sliding and non-stick contact surfaces.
  • Good electrical insulation with reference dielectric constant below 2.6 and loss tangent below 0.0025, plus UV resistance.
  • Dimensionally stable, with reference elongation coefficient below 5‰; fiberglass reinforcement adds strength and wear resistance.
  • Reference light transmission is about 6%-13%; special treatment can also provide antistatic performance.
  • Weather-resistant, aging-resistant, flame-retardant and stable against most pharmaceuticals for long industrial service.

  • Non-stick separation on heat sealers, baking equipment, packaging machinery, heating plates and molds.
  • High-temperature conveying, lamination, pressing, print drying and production lines requiring low-friction contact.
  • Acid, alkali, solvent and corrosion protection on chemical equipment, pipes and work surfaces.
  • Electrical insulation, welding masking, high-temperature gaskets and thermal protection for industrial equipment.
  • Easy-clean, non-adhering conveying and support surfaces in selected food and pharmaceutical processing.

Procurement notes

State thickness, width, length, continuous and peak temperature, adhesive requirement, contacted media, quantity and packaging. For heat sealing, conveying, chemical or electrical insulation, state pressure, friction frequency, chemical type and dielectric requirement. Test heat resistance, release, dimensional stability, wear and corrosion resistance on the actual equipment before volume purchasing.
