Foam Bonding Transfer Tape
Transparent carrierless pure acrylic transfer tape, approximately 0.06 mm thick and 55 m long, combines conformability, stretch, stable holding and die-cutting performance for foam, low-surface-energy plastics, flexible circuits and precision electronic parts.

Product overview
This foam bonding tape contains no film, paper or foam carrier. It consists of a transparent pure acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive film protected by release liner. At approximately 0.06 mm and 55 m per roll, it can be slit to assembly or die-cut widths. Without a central carrier, the adhesive remains thin, soft and extensible, following foam, plastic sheets, flexible circuits and irregular parts while limiting total build height. The clear adhesive preserves appearance where transparency and lightweight assembly matter.
Product features
- Carrierless construction gives low thickness and high transparency for concealed bonding.
- Soft, conformable and extensible adhesive follows foam, flexible circuits, membrane switches and curved parts.
- High initial tack and stable holding provide useful adhesion to foam and selected low-surface-energy plastics such as PP.
- Removes with little visible trace under suitable conditions and supports clean electronic or transparent assemblies.
- Easy to slit, punch and precision die-cut because there is no carrier springback; supplied as rolls or shaped pieces.
- Reference size is 0.06 mm × 55 m with custom widths; high-performance grades can be selected for heat, water, solvents and chemical stability.
- Some grades may meet short-term temperatures near 200°C, but temperature capability must be confirmed by sample and actual duty cycle.
- Not recommended directly on powdery walls, heavily textured leather, silicone/rubber, coarse uneven surfaces or surfaces contaminated by silicone oil, release agent or grease.
Applications
- Lamination of EVA, PE or PU foam to plastic, metal, nameplates or housings.
- Flexible circuits, membrane switches, electronic labels, instrument parts and advertising nameplates.
- Foam cushions and plastic parts in phones, computers, cameras, communications and automotive electronics.
- Shielding materials, heat sinks, flexible assemblies and precision die-cut adhesive pieces.
Procurement notes
For quotation, provide thickness, width, roll length or piece dimensions, foam type, opposing substrate, surface condition, temperature, water or solvent resistance, die-cut drawing, quantity and packaging. Foam density, additives, plastic surface energy and release agents affect adhesion. Clean and dry the surface; powdery, rough, silicone, rubber or oily surfaces may require another adhesive or pretreatment. Test initial tack, holding, peel, heat resistance, residue and die-cut tolerance before volume use.
