Product overview

3M 300LSE high-temperature double-sided tape uses a transparent PET film as a stable carrier, coated on both sides with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and protected by release paper. The clear, thin construction provides reliable fixation between suitable metals, plastics, rubber, nameplates, electronic parts and industrial assemblies. In appropriate designs it can reduce reliance on mechanical fasteners, help seal against humid air and selected solvents, and tolerate UV exposure and hot/cold cycling. Reference temperature resistance is approximately 93°C for continuous exposure and 149°C for short periods; actual performance must be validated against the substrate, load, duration and environment.

Procurement notes

Clean and dry the bonding area and avoid touching the adhesive. Use a roller or fixture to apply even pressure for about 3–5 seconds. Short pieces may be positioned after fully removing the red liner; if alignment is wrong, peel back smoothly and reapply. Avoid water and excessive load for the first 24 hours so the bond can develop. For quotation, provide the required model, dimensions, thickness, substrates, service temperature, load direction, die-cut drawing, quantity and packaging. Before volume purchase, verify source authenticity, compatibility, initial tack, holding, peel, heat, water and solvent resistance and residue with samples.
