Introduction to matte PVC cards

Matte PVC cards refer to cards whose surface is treated with a matte finish. The entire card feels smooth and does not fade, with no reflective front and back surfaces, not a mirror finish. Membership cards with a very dark background color are generally chosen for matte finishes, because if dark-colored cards are made glossy with a glossy finish, the mirror effect is very noticeable. If there are scratches on the card's surface, it is easy to notice, making the card look badly scratched, low-grade, and old, greatly reducing the card's lifespan. The characteristic of matte cards is that they have little reflection and are hard to see scratches, making them very suitable for dark-colored membership cards.

Matte PVC card process

Matte cards can have both embossed codes (small or large embossed codes). The cards can be foiled in gold or silver. Membership signature strips are usually printed on the card, and depending on usage needs, magnetic stripes or barcodes can be added. The membership management system manages member information, spending, stored value, points, discounts, and transaction counting.

Matte cards can be printed with flat codes, laser codes, and can be labeled with codes.
Ordinary membership cards are made with imposition plates. If dark-colored membership cards are made with collage, color shifts (color differences) can easily occur, whereas matte cards are made with special editions, resulting in more precise color effects.
