Introduction to laser cards

Laser cards consist of a polyester film (PET) coated with multiple layers of chemical coatings on its surface. Polyester film is typically 12 microns thick. The aluminum layer serves to create a reflective effect; it is formed by the aluminum wire being melted and sublimated at high temperatures, then condensed onto the laser material under ultra-low vacuum conditions.
