Principle of access control cards
Because the access card contains a chip called RFID, when we hold a card containing the RFID chip through a card reader, the electromagnetic waves emitted by the reader begin to read the information inside the card. The information inside can not only be read but also written and modified. Therefore, the chip card is not just a key; it is also an electronic ID card. Because as long as your personal data is written into the chip, you can know who is coming in or leaving at the card reader location. The same technology is also used in anti-theft chips in shopping malls, among other things.

Advantages and Benefits of Access Cards:
There is no mechanical contact between the access card and the reader, avoiding various faults caused by contact reading and writing. For example: faults caused by rough card insertion, insertion of non-card objects, or poor contact caused by dust or oil contamination. Moreover, the access control card has no exposed chips on its surface, eliminating concerns about chip detachment, static electricity breakdown, or bending damage. This not only facilitates card printing but also improves the reliability of card usage. The serial number of the access card is unique; the manufacturer has fixed this serial number before the product leaves the factory and cannot be changed. Before processing, access cards must undergo three rounds of mutual authentication with the reader, and all data during communication is encrypted. Additionally, each sector on the card has its own operation password and access requirements. A two-way authentication mechanism is used between the access card and the reader/writer, meaning the reader verifies the validity of the access card, and the access card also verifies the legitimacy of the reader.
